We have a muiti site in one Dynamicweb solution, that runs both on multiple domains and in multiple language versions. The sites I kind of similar across domains, and some pages will have the same name, but on different urls.
However we have some trouble setting up the URL schemes, so we get the result we want.
This is how we would prefer the setup
1) domainone.dk/productpage
2) domainone.dk/en/productpage (lang page)
3) domaintwo.dk/productpage (other domain – no lang version)
However, we have difficulties in setting this up, correctly.
The productpage gets a -1 on the second page since the productpage shares name with another page. This can be changed by checking the ”Ensure unique paths for each area” setting. Then 1) and 3) works, but I get the 404 page when going to 2).
So to sum up:
”Ensure unique paths for each area” On
1) domainone.dk/productpage – Works!
2) domainone.dk/en/productpage - 404
3) domaintwo.dk/productpage - Works
”Ensure unique paths for each area” Off
1) domainone.dk/productpage – Works!
2) domainone.dk/en/productpage - Works
3) domaintwo.dk/productpage-1 - Works, but with -1 which is not what we want!
So is there a way to set it up, so we can get what we prefer?
