Hi All,

Can I check if there have a limitation on email marketing to send users per group?

When I select the smart search group that has email permission (included users over 200K), it shows only the user about 40K to send out even all users have email permission.  

Could you please suggest to me to send for all users over 200K from the marketing module?

Dynamicweb will remove users that does not comply with this

  • Active flag on the user has to be set
  • Email allowed flag on the user has to be set
  • The email address on the user has to be a valid format
  • If you have setup the recipient provider to use consents, consent for each user has to be given to the selected consent activities.

So check these things is in place.

Otherwise you can create a case with service desk so they can investigate.

I want to see why we can not send to the users who are not activated yet. Do you have any documentation or any reference for it?

A deactived user is deactivated and cannot be send to.

The rules above are not explicitly documented.

You can activate you use with the active flag and move them to a "not activated" group instead and manage permissions or what you need in that way.

Hi all,

I want to check why there is no data for mobile phone? 

We have opened the marketing email with mobile phone (1st time opened and also open recently with phone). But it looks like no data coming in.

Can I check if there is anything that we can find out of the data?

It might be some outdated email client detection in Dynamicweb that does not detect your device correctly.

You might be able to find your open event in the NonBrowserSession table of the database - it has a [SessionUserAgentString] that we need to understand if that is the case.

Hi Nicolai,

I believe that the mobile data is included in that database when I go check it. But I am still not getting the mobile data in the marketing HIGHLIGHTS

Anything else that we can check and fix it?

I was noticed that Gmail is not working when we open the marketing mail there. It was recorded as Desktop. The one we got the mobile data from the Mobile's Default email app. 

I want to make sure that ss the Marketing module doesn't support the Gmail provider?

Is this also a 9.3 solution?

You will have to update - a lot of things have been fixed in the latest releases.

These numbers was fixed with #52053 June 26th 2018 - if you apply the latest 9.3 to this solution the numbers should match.
