What would be the best way to configure an email marketing to meet this requirement. Any customization required? If yes, what would be the customization?
Requirement
- Get A $88 OFF voucher code when bought the selected Philosophy’s brand’s item for EVERY QUALIFYING ORDER, promotion end 31st Dec 2021.
Proposed Setup
- Create a smart search – to identify users who had bought the Philosophy’s brand’s item and the product bought time stamp was AFTER YESTERDAY.
- Create a voucher list
- Create an email content using the voucher list define in point 2.
- Create a campaign
- Create an email using page defined in point 3, using smart search defined in point 1. Schedule it to run DAILY from 1st Dec 2021 00L01 till 1ST Jan 2022 00:01
Test steps and expected result based on Proposed Setup
- User ABC had made a purchase on 1st Dec 2021.
- User XYZ had made a purchase on 1st Dec 2021.
- On 2nd Dec 2021, User ABC receive the $88 Voucher code
- On 2nd Dec 2021, User XYZ receive the $88 Voucher code
- On 2nd Dec 2021, User ABC place another order qualify him to get another $88 Voucher code.
- On 3rd Dec 2021, User ABC receive another $88 Voucher code.
- On 3rd Dec 2021, User XYZ should not receive another voucher code.
Queries based on Proposed Setup
- On 1st Dec 2021, User ABC had placed 3 different orders, so he is entitling to 3 $88 voucher codes via 3 different emails on 2nd Dec 2021, how to achieve this?
- On 1st Dec 2021, one of the orders placed by User ABC had been cancelled using backend feature > ecommerce>order>search for order>Open the order>At ribbon, click “cancel” button. If this was done before the schedule job, how to ensure that User ABC is receiving 2 $88 Voucher code instead of 3 $88 voucher codes on 2nd Dec 2021?
- What would be your proposed setup to achieve this without customization?
- If customization cannot be avoided, what would be your proposed setup with the minimum customization?
Thanks
