Cookiepolicy where only necessary/functional cookies are activated

Our customer's website uses Dynamicweb All-In-One - EXPRESS special version 9.6.3.
It is a website where only necessary/functional cookies should be acitvated.

The website tells me that the following cookies are used without consent hence they ought to be necessary / functional cookies.

  • Dynamicweb.SessionVisitor
  • Dynamicweb
  • ASP.NET_SessionId

Are they alle necessary/functional cookies and what do they do?
Are they first-party or third-party cookies?
What is their duration?

In cookie manager you can move the cookies into another category:

https://doc.dynamicweb.com/documentation-9/platform/platform-tools/cookie-manager

Dynamicweb.SessionVisitor is personalisation cookie and should not be there.

Dynamicweb cookie is related to login function (remember username, password, autologin, login duration etc) and is funcational and should be there.

ASP.NET_SessionId is set by the webserver and is also functional.

Thank you very much :-D

How do I remove the cookies: Dynamicweb Dynamicweb.SessionVisitor and Dynamicweb?

By setting it up in the cookie manager I linked to.

We have fixed some bugs related to this, so the version you are on might have an issue.

How do I get these "bugs" fixed?

My Cookie Manager is showing this:

You need to upgrade the solution to latest 9.10 or 9.12.

Support can do that for you if the solution is hosted with us. Otherwise you have to do the update.

Sorry.

Did not see your screen dump.

You need to move Dynamicweb.SessionVisitor cookie to "Valgte cookies" in the tracking section.

Thank you :-)

Isn't "Dynamicweb.SessionVisitor" a statistical cookie?

When activating the Cookie Manager and I choose "I do not want to accept cookies" the only cookie which is activated is: Dynamicweb.CookieOptInLevel
Could that be an alternative solution to run the website only using necessary/functional cookies?

Yes, it is a tracking/statistical cookie.

Yes, that is the purpose of using the cookimanager that people can say yay or nay to cookies.

But we only want the website to include necessary/functional cookies.
Therefore I do not want to move Dynamicweb.SessionVisitor cookie to "Valgte cookies" in the tracking section.

Is that a problem?

Then move it into Valgte and do not offer the cookie dialog. Then people cannot opt-in and they do not get the cookie.

Where can I deactivate the cookies that are automatically set in the code. Is it in the index file or?

I contacted your support and now the statistical cookies, which are activated automatically, are deactivated and the website now only consist of necessary/functional cookies.
Thank you for your answers and for your great support line.
