Detach Product Automatically from the Group

Hi Sir,

I would like to get an idea on how we can process to detach the product automatically from the group.

The expected scenario is as per following:

Product A was belongs to the Women / Blazzer group and when the christmas event was coming and I would like to give this product as promotion so I attached the same product to the Promo Group.

In the month of January, my discount validation period was over therefore I wanted to auto detach the product from the Promo Group but I still want to have in the Women/ Blazzer group.

Is there any feature that I can use for the above scenario or would you be able to suggest me how should I process this?

Hi Yoon,

You can maybe use the "Auto assign products to groups" functionality (https://doc.dynamicweb.com/documentation-9/pim/structure-workflows/warehouses-groups#sideNavTitle1-3). There you can use some values on the product to determine if the product should be assigned to a specific group. When the value which ties the product to the group no longer exists, the relation to the group will automatically be deleted.

So in your scenario, it will require that the products you want to place in the Promo Group will be updated with some specific values either manually or through some kind of integration job.
