I am not sure I understand what the question or issue is....?

On top of the 2 settings you are displaying here, you can choose if you want to list groups or products. 

If you choose to list products, and you choose from more groups, group sorting does not apply since you mix and match products from several groups.

If you choose to list groups, choose one above the level you want to show and use the subgroup loop in the template.

So my question is - do you list products or groups? And what happens and what do you expect to happen?

Thanks for your prompt reply.

We are listing product groups in the front end as shown on the right side of the image below:

We want to show the product Groups in the following order:

1. Sportsfield Blends

2. Racecourse Seed Blends

3. Other Seed Blends

When we select product groups in the above-mentioned order and save the page/paragraph it rearranges them in the order shown on the left side of the image.

This issue started happing when we upgraded the DW from 9.7 to 9.10.10

I will let QA look into if we have a change of behavior.

But you should be able to choose the parent group, "Seed blends", and then use the sub groups loop in the template and have them come out in the right sort order.

Selecting the parent group sounds like a good idea, however, there are scenarios where we don't want to display all the child's groups of a parent, therefore, it is really important for us to be able to select particular product groups. We are happy to wait for the QA team to get back to us with any further info.

The problem #4462 regarding Product group sorting has been resolved in Dynamicweb version 9.10.14
