Can we please get filter in the dropdown for picking a default variant on a product?

When a product has 100+ variants, it can be very difficult to find a specific one. Can we please get some sort of search or filter functionality in that dropdown?

You will in DW10. All selects will have that feature.

I will check if we can make the change easily on DW9 - we do have the control.
