I have a solution running on DW 9.9.8.
I am experiencing some strange behavior when updating the values when using bulk editing.
I am setting the manufacturer on a couple of products, after the update I can see the manufacturer correctly displayed in the product list in PIM, in product detail in PIM and in product list in e-commerce, but the Product detail in Ecommerce shows "none".
And because of this, the new Manufacturer value is not visible in the front-end. I have tried indexing but without any luck.
I suppose this is some caching issue but I have no idea how to instruct the admins to solve it. Recycling the website solves the problem, but I cannot ask them to recycle the site everytime they make a change.
