Color code missing from item type

I am developing a Vue frontend and I want to have Item Types for static content, there I want to be able to select colors for various objects.


This is the result of the color swatch, why don´t you send the hex value?

hmm... we do send the hex value!

Could you specify your DW version and steps please?

I was not explicit enough, I am developing a Vue frontend so I am using the DWAPI to retrieve the paragraphs, and the screenshot from me above shows the only information I get from the Color Swatch after calling the paragraphs endpoint. I am using DW 9.10.5

yes, this is the important detail:)

There are some technical issues with webapi(it is beta yet).
A related of color swatch - it should know the area object from which to take palette. But this is not explicit in case the webapi!
We will solve this issue of course!
