Taxes and question

Hi,

I have a client that has 3 products.

These products when added to cart - need to have a tax on them.

So if the product itself cost 20,-, there should be applied a fixed cost of 5,- in tax. if I buy 5 - the cost for the product would be 100,- and the tax 25,-

On the tax itself - there should not be VAT calculated.

But VAT should be calculated on the product price.

The TAx should be on its own line OR summed up in the bottom of the cart.

Is this possible. And if so - how?

if not possible - how could it be achieved?

Regards
Jan

Hi Jan

Try with the Taxes feature - find it here: https://doc.dynamicweb.com/documentation-9/ecommerce/payment-shipping/vat-taxes#sideNavTitle1-2

Use the flat tax provider:

Se if this solves your issue.

Thanks, Nicolai

Hi Nicolai,

Yes, I tried this.

If I use this - then it will add "5" to the current price in orderline. It will not add Quantaty*Fixed rate - and it is not in its own orderline or as a summed up field.

What I need is for the tax to be abstracted from the product orderline itself.

Does it make sense?
