Using variants in Related products

Hi guys,

I have a request from one of our customers (actually we had this request a few times before) about making a specific relation with a variant of a product instead of relating only to the Master product. Right now, the interface for adding a related product only allows adding a master product. We have tried in DW 9.9.8.

Is this possible/upcoming/not a chance?

Hi Adrian

You can choose a variant - but it has to be an extended variant:
