Editable quantity on RMA

Hi guys,

I am trying to implement an RMA flow where the user can select the quantity he wants to return.

I see that the default Rapido templates for RMA don't have the option to edit the quantity.

Before digging too far, is this editable quantity scenario supported?

I am using DW9.9.8 and Rapido 3.4

Thank you,

Adrian

Hi Nicolai,

Thank you for the response.

In the meantime, I have checked the Table structure and I see there is no Quantity field available for RMA order lines.
And I also noticed that the system creates one RMA for each unit of every ProductID that is selected.
Which means that an orderline with 100 units of a product, will display 100 order lines, and if the customer is really decided to go on and select 90 of these order lines and provide comments for each of them, there will be 90 RMAs created. I am not sure if I have understood correctly how it works. I am sure there are scenarios that led to this approach even if the documentation here https://doc.dynamicweb.com/documentation-9/ecommerce/carts-orders/rma shows a different story

If it works as I have described, it is obvious that I cannot use it. The question is if I can use the API to create RMAs instead and what limitations will there be if I try.

Thank you,

Adrian
