"Order id does not match id of order" message

Hello,

We have a solution, on 9.8.8, where a user received the "Order id does not match id of order" message in cart (I've attached the screenshot sent by our client) and couldn't finalize the order. Then the agent tried using the user's account and received the same message. Then the client as well. I've tried myself after a few hours using the same account, but I didn't receive this message any longer, so something must have been reset that it started to work again.

Also, in the previous months, we had two cases on this solution where the orders lost theirs order lines when the orders have been finalized. I've looked in the orders debugging info, and there were a lot of redirects using two different IPs intermixed, so there might have been a proxy or the user accessed his order from different devices. In this case it seems to be a concurrency problem with the cart.

Regards,

Emil

Hi guys,

We are constantly seeing this message on other solutions as well.

Does anybody have any idea why?

Thank you,
Adrian

Hi,

I just experienced this problem too, on a DW version 9.9.8

@Adrian, did you find a solution for your part?

Hi Kurt,

Unfortunately, no.

We have scheduled the solution for upgrade hoping that it would solve the issue.

Hi Adrian,

I stumbled upon the same problem and it occurred when trying to clone an orderline, before saving the whole order.

If I just created a new orderline, instead of cloning the original, the exception disappeared.

Hi guys,

Apparently, this issue is also found in DW 9.12.5.

Is this related to something in our implementation? Or with Live integration?

In the last solution where we have found it, we have Live cart and Live prices but in the first solution (the first comment in this thread) we only had Live prices.

Where should we look further?

Thank you,
Adrian
