Any way of switching off the clear/reset button for product category fields?

Hi

this is pretty irresponsible of us, if we give the editor the ability of clearing all the fields like this.

 

Any chance of turning off this option?

Nope. You can mark the fields as readonly so they cannot edit them (which is the same).

The icon is not reset or clear, but fall back to the inherited value from a master product or language version of a product or from the default value for these fields coming from the group.

But they have to be able to edit them, because their values are inserted manually. Or am I mistaking?

If So -

A feature request - wouldn´t it make sense that this was only available if there actually was any value to inherit?
