Hi guys,

We have 2 solutions that have been implemented using Rapido and DW 9.9.5.

In one of them we are listing only master products, the other one lists Products with Variants.

For the one displaying only master products, when you add a product to a favorite list, the product is displayed right away in the favorite list. Which is what we have expected.

On the second project, when you add the variant to a favorite list it is only displayed after reindexing.

So far the setups seem identical, the only difference is adding a master product instead of a variant.

Does anyone else see the same behavior? Is there something I am missing on the setup?

Hello Adrian,

Yes, we had that issue before, but it was fixed in Rapido 3.3 (dw98). Maybe you can upgrade your solution? Latest Rapido version is 3.4.2 and upcoming is Rapido 3.4.3 March release.

Hi Olga,

The funny thing is that the solution that is working correctly runs on Rapido 3.3 :)

Which means somehow the problem might have resurfaced in Rapido 3.4.

Hi Olga,

Any help on this task? The customer is pushing me very hard for a solution and it would be pretty inefficient to start comparing all files from Rapido 3.3. and Rapido 3.4 to see what has changed.

Hi Nicolai,

The problem was fixed in Rapido 3.3. We have a solution running Rapido 3.3 where this is working correctly.

In Rapido 3.4, the display of the variants in list is delayed. They are not displayed in the list unless you run the index again.

My understanding from Olga's response was that the problem was fixed in 3.3. And since it is not working in 3.4, I have assumed that the problem surfaced again in 3.4 and I was looking for the exact change that fixed it in 3.3.

If I misunderstood it, I apologize.

If this functionality of adding variants to Favorites list without delay is not supported, I need to know in order to communicate it to our customer and they can decide if they will ask for a change request or leave it as it is. The way it looks now is that this is a bug.

Please clarify it for me so I can communicate it properly to our customer.

I see that this is 9.10.0. Can it have anything to do with it?

Our solution is running 9.9.5 with Rapido 3.4.

The solution that is working correctly runs on DW 9.9.5 with Rapido 3.3.

Which rules out the version part.

Could it be a configuration? Where should I look in this case?
