Hi,

 

I am surprised that there is not a Detail template for the Query Publisher. Is this by design?

 

Maybe because of there's not a hardcoded querystring parameter that would trigger it (like it happens with ProdId for the Product Catalog)?

How would we find one specific record from a search result? We do not know the 'key'

It is a search that will return 1 or more items.

So return list

Make a new search using an item from your search result using another parameter, i.e. YourIndexedThingPrimaryKey=123 and render that...

Right, right. We are already doing that, but yeah, not having a "key" would make this harder. I started having a few ideas/suggestions, but I quickly realized how it would be a source of issues and miss interpretations.
