Customers keep asking for voucher code data range, mostly associated with Abandoned Cart campaigns. I.e.
- Abandoned Cart Campaign is triggered
- Voucher Context Renderer generates a new voucher code
- Code is valid for 24h
Currently this is not possible, as the voucher list needs to be associated with a discount that has no date range (always active), so that means there's an increasing amount of voucher codes that are generated, with no correlation to orders/carts, so we have to make educated guesses as to which voucher codes can be removed from the DB.
If voucher codes had from-to dates, that defaulted to the discount's date range, but could be overridden/explicitly set, we could keep the current funcionality AND have limited-offer voucher codes (generated at different times) with a single DW discount.
