Is it possible to set up a recurring task that automatically deletes pages under eg. a certian parentpage, it the pages are older than x days? Sort of like what is possible for logs/folders?

Hi Hans,

You can set up a Scheduled Task to run every X minutes/hours that triggers a method.

Then your method can do whatever you need. https://www.screencast.com/t/O80aUzyo1v3R

a-ha 👍🏻

Thank you Nuno, will look into that

Again, that would require the solution being a custom solution, right?

Due to a horrible history in having programmers coming and going, ant not being able to update solutions without the hassle of custom modules, we are trying all we can to avoid functinalties requiring solutions  being custom solutions,

But I understand, there is ofcourse only so mutch we can do in standard

Hi Hans,

Yes, it would have to be custom, because there's nothing in Dynamicweb that does it.

And I understand the struggles you refer about supporting custom development. Technical debt is a very "modern" topic and much like bugs it's unfortunately something we have to deal with, doing the best we can to avoid them.
