Stock level in backend when using stock matrix

Hi

I am playing around with the stock matrix. On one product I have set a stock level in the stock level matrix. But the stock level field on the product doesn't show the sum of all stock levels from the stock matrix. Why is that? Also the stock and stock status is "0" and "Out of stock" in the productlist in the backend.

Those 2 fields are seperated. In the frontend you have the stockunits loop that will give you the information.

You could have 2 bottles and 2 cases of the same product in stock. That would not give you 4 in stock - at least not comparable quantities. So usually you would use stock matrix or just the stock field on the product if you do not use locations and units.

We might change this behavior to run strictly on the stock matrix at a later stage.

Hi Nicolai

Ah I see. I had overlooked the stock unit which is the key here.
