Data Integration jobs list is very slow

Hi,

Consider this screendump https://www.screencast.com/t/RmwGBlr3. You'll notice that the system takes a LONG time to render the list of jobs.

I believe this is relate to how DW processes the jobs, needing to parse all XML files, which contain all of the DB schemas as well. This solution does not seems scalable and it's causing some frustration and a lot of time spent/lost when searching through issues in jobs and/or when we click the wrong job and have to come back to the list.

Best Regards,

Nuno Aguiar

Hi,

I have created a bug to fix the performance(TFS#82545), for you to workaround this could probably help clean-up "Files\System\Log\DataIntegration"

Thanks Kristian and Viktor. I love all of these performance improvements.

Viktor, you mentioned the following:

> ... for you to workaround this could probably help clean-up "Files\System\Log\DataIntegration"

That's a different performance situation that causes the Settings section to be slow to load if there is a large number of Event Viewer, Data Integration, Scheduled Task or other log file. Do you know if there is a task created for that improvement? You hinted at it in the fix so I'm curious if it's a task somewhere already.

Thanks,

Scott
