Sitemap.xml and Robots.txt not working

Hello,

I cannot get the Sitemap.xml and Robots.txt to work.

Regarding the sitemap.

I have the SEOSitemap.xslt in Admin/Public (have also tried copying it to the System folder).
I have a 404 handler set up as per: https://doc.dynamicweb.com/get-started/introduction/other/custom-404-error-pages
I have pages checked with "show in sitemap", even tried the active on all pages button shown on screen dump.
I have filled out Robots.txt under Website Settings (see dump)

Both just return an 404 not found page.

What am I missing?

I'm running 9.8.4.

Where do you host? With us? What IIS version?

Could be a missing StaticFileModule in your handlers section in IIS/web.config.

We host it ourselves - IIS 10.

The StaticModule is in web.config aswell as IIS. Watch screendumps.

That is your modules (first dump). You need to look at your handler mappings.

If you host your self you need to figure out why the Dynamicweb 404 handler is not hit requests to IIS. We will be happy to move the customer to our Cloud and we will take care of it :-)

Found it - we had httpErrors errorMode to Detailed in Web.Config - should be Custom.
