Thousands separator for currencies

Greetings,

We have a customer who would like to have a dot(.), as their Thousands separator on the Norwegian Currency

To fix this before i have set the regional settings to none, but this will not work anymore, as we need the regional settings for other functions.

A permanent fix for this would be able to set the same Regional info for multiple currencies, this is not an option at the moment.

Any ideas on, how to be able to have dot as Thousands separator and still have the correct regional setting

Hi

Currently not - DW uses the built in NumberFormatInfo for a culture when a culture is specified. The numberformat comes from .NET and the official Norwegian seperator is space. This field actually came from a feature request to support the space in Norwegian prices :-).

To the best of my knowledge Dynamicweb only use this field for formatting currencies, so you should be able to leave it at none... Any reason you cannot?

You might be able to registor a custom cultureinfo on the server to support custom norwegian formatting: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/api/system.globalization.cultureandregioninfobuilder.register?view=netframework-4.8

I have been told, from an older post that if i set the regional setting on the currency to none, then it will use the websites regional setting, which is true.
