House number in addresses

Hello,

I got a problem with the 'adresses' section. For the fulfilment party it is crucial for us to deliver a seperate house number I see that there is not such a field?
It is going to be a problem for all of our clients, because they work with the same party.

Hi Jaap

You can create a custom address field and call it house number - see dump.

Hello Nicolai,

Thanks for your remark. We considered that possibility aswell, but that would mean that we have to create that for every solution in the future. So in our opinion that wouldn't be ideal. Espcially because a critical part of the checkout would rely on custom field then.

@np: it's also about consistency. The address on AccessUser does have a house number (AccessUserHouseNumber) but the one on AccessUserAddress does not. That makes it difficult to mix and match addresses as sometimes you need to consult the custom field, and sometimes you don't. Having a HouseNumber on AccessUserAddress like we have on AccessUser would remove that inconsistency and makes it a lot easier to manage templates.
