Hi,

 

I'm looking for confirmation on the Product Quantity feature in Discounts. I believe it's by design, but the UI is misleading in my opinion.

 

A customer has selected Product Quantity to be "Any Product" with Quantity = "2". This works well with Order Discounts, but with Product Discounts it does not work at all. I am suspecting it's because Product Discounts only consider the individual orderline and not the entire order, so it will not look into other products/orderlines.

 

If this by design or a bug? (using 9.7.5)

Yes, that is by design. It would be really weird if a product/orderline discount looked at the entire order.

Hi Nicolai,

 

Yeah, I agree and it does make sense to be by design. I guess the more reason for a better UI (as per my feature request) to avoid confusions on that screen.
