Mix of prices from NAV - with and without VAT

We have a customer who wants prices in NAV to be with VAT or without VAT depending on the type of customer. They want to control the exact price of products sold to B2C customers (eg 99.95) and therefore prices should not be controlled by rounding logic in Dynamicweb. When prices are exported from NAV, they will be marked whether they contain VAT or not. Is it possible to handle this in Dynamicweb?

Hi Niels

You can disable the rounding logic in Dynamicweb - either for a currency or just in general.

But you need to export the prices for B2C to Dynamicweb without VAT - so 99,95 would be 79.96 in the Dynamicweb database in DKK with Danish VAT. If it is i.e. EUR with German VAT of 19% you have to put 83.9916 into the database - at least 3 decimals.

We are looking at an update of the pricing in Dynamicweb so you can add a combination of prices with and without VAT to better support these scenarios.

Dear Nicolai,

Sounds great! We are in a need for this feature in the first half of this year. When do you expect to be able to support this scenario?

Best regards,

Anders

Hi Anders

I cannot promise anything and it will not be before 9.9 earliest.

You can do what you want already if you implement as adviced above.
