Item Publisher - Sorting

Hi,

I have a Item Publisher that renders paragraph items. I have set the "Order by" to "Sort order".

Bu in frontend the items are rendered in what seems a random order.

I read in some older threads about some bug related to this but I guress those ar fixed (https://doc.dynamicweb.com/forum/cms-standard-features/cms-standard-features/sorting-item-types-using-item-publisher).

Are there new bugs related to soring with "Sort order"?

Hi Aki,

There are no open bugs related to that. I just tested the app on a local site and the sorting worked as expected for paragraph items and order by set to "Sort value".

Which version of Dynamicweb are you using?

Are the paragraphs placed on a single page or multiple pages?

Can you share a screendump of how the Item Publisher app is configured?

Are you using any query string values to override the sorting in front end?

Hi,

I saw now that I had two paragraphs with Item Publishers but with different Item Types. I changed the other one to "Sort order" also and then the first one started to work.

Then I tryed to set the second Item Publisher back to anouther sort order to see if that one affected the first one. But now I cannot reproduce that the sort order fails with "Sort value".

So at the moment everything works as expected.

I will wake up this thread if I come across the same problem again.
