Product variant search on Product item field

Hi,

After upgrading to 9.7.2 the product field on itemtypes cannot search for product variants. It only returns the master product.

Manual selecting the variant works but with a lot of products the search is getting more crucial. 

Can the variants be enabled in the searchresults?

Also the "View more" button to show more products in the group only returns master products. So some variants aren't accesible in any way.

Hi Jesse,

The issues are reproduced with product selector launched from other places (e.g. attach product to product group etc.) as well. I've created TFSs 71214 (variant search) and 71215 (ViewMore output) will be fixed in upcoming release. Thanks for observing.

Thanks for the confirmation.

Will this be in the 9.7.3 release? And is this planned for this week?

Hi Willem

It is currently assigned to a developer to get fixed in next sprint, starting nov 6th. It will be released shortly thereafter in the first 9.7.* release after that.

The problems #71214 and #71215 has been fixed in Dynamicweb version 9.7.4

To upgrade please choose this version from here:

http://doc.dynamicweb.com/releases-and-downloads/releases
