content/Items in a context other than Page/Paragraph

Out of curiosity, and maybe more a question than a request, and maybe I am mistaking,

But I think I remember that at the last tech conference, Nicolai talked about that it would be possible to create Items that would not be in the Page/Paragraph context.

Am I mistaking, or is there something in the planning for another context for content/Items, and if so - When should we expect this and can you reveal anything on this now?

Hi Hans

I do not think I've mentioned that. All items are either a page or a paragraph, for several reasons. You have all sorts of options to create folders and hidden pages in lists to support items that are not part of the navigation structure. Having the items on the page structure is needed for permissions, urls, metadata, language management and a whole lot of other things...
