Part Lists and discount

Hello Community :)

I have a product of type parts list with the option "Calculated Price" selected and one or more of the products in the part list have a discount. These product discounts is not used in the Price calculation, so did I miss something or is that just the way it works?

Just looking at the calculation code - it does not handle discounts for the BOM products - probably not a use case that we have taken into consideration. The BOM product has its own SKU and that will be used for the discount calculations - also to avoid double discounts.

I've got a similar issue / question. Not exactly the same - but related.

I have a product where you can choose to buy 0, 1 or 2 years of service (this is a parts list on the main product). If you buy without service - you get X% discount on the product. If you buy with 1 year of servive - you get Y% discount. I doesn't seem like this is possible to set up with the discounts. So my question: Is this possible with standard functionality? Or do I need to do some custom stuff to obtain this?
