Using Maps for delivery address selection

Hi there

Does anyone have any expirience with using Google Maps as source for selection of delivery address. Our customer has a list of partners who can be used as delivery points (like GLS parcels shops). When user goes to cart I would like to open map so he can select delivery destination from map and clicking on location it should populate delivery address data.

Any insights about this?

Hi Ivan

We do this in the checkout of Rapido when it is configured to use parcel shops - we just get a list of possible parcel shops from the provider - it could as well be your own provider. So take a look at how that has been implemented and change the source of delivery points.

Hi,

I implemented new ParcelShopsProvider and now I get the addresse from partners to be displayed on google maps and can be selected as delivery address.

Issue I am having now is that when we open cart first address get selected as default for delivery and client would like it to be empty (no selection).

Any ideas?
