Default Permission on User Group vs Explicit permission on Content for this user group

Dear All, 

I set 'Edit' for default permission for the user group. 
In 'Content' and 'Ecommerce > Product Catalog', I set 'Read' permission on both for this user group. 

When I checked with this user account, I can edit on the content but I cannot edit on the product catalog. Please refer to the following loom:

Can you please advise which one will override the permission for this user group: 'Default Permission' on the user group level or 'Explicit Permission' that set on 'Content' and 'Product Catalog'?

Hi Nyein

It is the same as the other post I just answered. You need to set permissions on the content root in the tree...
