I'm trying out the new dynamic article item type, and found a bug: https://egwbp-sivha.azurewebsites.net/klokkebloggen/dette-visste-du-ikke-om-klokker

In the summary/leadtext I have plain text, no formatting (not an option either) and yet source code is displayed. Can u fix asap?

Hi Siv,

Just to let you know that this section of the forum is dedicated to upgrade issues related to the Dynamicweb platform. Your issue seems to be related to Rapido, and would have a better chance of being resolved if it's put in the right place, https://doc.dynamicweb.com/forum/rapido-and-wrap. The Rapido team normally don't look for Rapido related posts here, but i've forwarded this to them and you should get a reply soon.

Hi Siv

The field, in the backend, that you are using to insert this text, is just for plain text. When the rich text editor is shown in the backend, this means that it is possible to create a text with custom styling. The reason for not always using the rich text editor, is to keep it simple and easy to use. The text editor takes a lot of space, and important other fields will get out of view. And it adds to the complexity to the over all editing.

I will discuss with the team, if we should chaneg to use the rich text editor for the Summary / Leadtext.

If you are in desperate need for this, you can go to: Settings -> Item types -> Dynamic article, and change the  "Summary / Leadtext" field type to "Rich text". But you should be aware that this change will be overwritten if you upgrade Rapido. And then you will have to change it again.

Best regards
