Data Type not available for Ecomm order line fields

Dear Sir

I need to create a date field in Ecomm order line and I noted there is no date data type.

Was this the intended design for Ecomm order line?

Hi Pang Lin

Yes, that is a very old feature and there is no option to choose the dataformat. The data is stored on the orderline it self in a xml document with values for each field. So that limits the options for controlling the underlying data format.

You can however store the date as a string if you ensure to do it in a format that can be converted back to a date - i.e. in the format "2019-03-11 14:27:02" or something similar.
