How does Group Admins work?

Hi,

I've tried setting up users as Group Admins for a particular user group. However, I notice there is no difference with users who are not a Group Admin for that user group in terms of functionality rights like editing or creating user. Hence, it would be great if you could explain how does Group Admin works? What are the additional rights, if any, given to Group Admins?

I've read the documentation regarding Group Admins, but it is not detailed enough to reflect the actual execution flow. Am I missing anything?

Hi Afi

That feature is only related to the old permission system. So if you have switched to the new one released in 9.4, this button has not effect - you have to set permissions on the groups in the user management tree by right clicking them and choose permissions.

We have created a task to remove the group admin button for solutions using the new permissions.

Sorry about the confusion.

BR Nicolai
