Custom 404 - problem

Hi there

I have two sites on is at www.client.com/hr-hr and second on www.client.com/hr-en/ and for both of them I set different Custom 404 page in web site settings but the second one displays 404 page of first one and I dont understand why.

Hi Ivan,

Check your website settings for the domain https://doc.dynamicweb.com/documentation-9/content/content/websites-language-layers#3213.

If you check the checkbox "The selected domains can only reach this website", do you still have the same issue?

It will not work if you have 2 websites using the same domain.

Since the url is not found, Dynamicweb does not know which website it tried to reach and falls back. I.e. www.client.com/files/images/somephoto.jpg - which website was that?

There is a whish to handle the issue with partial path match so that www.client.com/hr-hr/doesnotexist will result in the hr 404 and www.client.com/hr-en/doesnotexist will result in en 404 - but currently it only works if domains are different.
