Email Marketing scheduled task

We have a solution that the Email Marketing Scheduler doesn't work. This is running version Dw 9.5.5. The following error is returned:

System.MissingMethodException: Method 'Dynamicweb.EmailMarketing.EmailScheduleHandler.Execute' not found.<br/>   at System.RuntimeType.InvokeMember(String name, BindingFlags bindingFlags, Binder binder, Object target, Object[] providedArgs, ParameterModifier[] modifiers, CultureInfo culture, String[] namedParams)<br/>   at Dynamicweb.Extensibility.AddIns.AddInManager.InvokeStaticFunction(Type type, String functionName, Object[] arguments)<br/>   at Dynamicweb.Scheduling.MethodJob.Execute()

Any help would be appreciated.

Upgraded 8 solution?

You might want to delete the schedule task and create it again. It looks like a wrong something...

This was a 9.4.x solution that was upgrade to 9.5.5. I tried a new scheduled task and see the execute option in the pulldown configuration but it returns the same error. I did update our site application bin directory with the 9.5.5. bin directory but that did not help.

That's a bug :(

TFS #58586 - Email Marketing scheduled task fails with a System.MissingMethodException

The bug has been fixed and awaits QA and release.

Workaround:

In the scheduled task settings for method activation there is a "Parameters" field. Enter a single dummy value, e.g. X, and save.
Now run the task again.

Hi Terri

The problem TFS#58586 "Email Marketing scheduled task fails with a System.MissingMethodException" has now been fixed in Package "Dynamicweb.EmailMarketing" version 2.2.5

You are able to find this update in the backend Package update section.

Also the correction are part of the 9.5.7 release
