Hi,

 

A customer requested the ability to set a discount based on the order weight/volume. This is not directly related to Free Shipping, but rather an additional condition to set a discount, although it could be used to give 10% discount for orders over 10kg :P

This one is far fetched!

I am considering a OrderDiscountAdditionalParametersProvider though that can be attached on an orderdiscount (the order matrix system) and give additional properties and a method that can return true/false if the discount applies. And THEN - you can have discounts that react on weather, number of steps to the nearest starbucks or whatever you want :-).

I completely agree with you on being farfetched, but I had to ask. The Provider seems a great solution too.
