The backend of DW9 isd not supported by IE - that's OK. It would be cool if the user is notified about that when they try to log in using IE. Beacause they do try - and then they call me...

The login screen already displays a notification about that (see attached screen dump).
Unfortunately this is not displayed when using IE 11 (which is probably the most popular version). This has been fixed in 9.5
