Voucher code case sensitive

Hi,

 

Can you confirm what's the expected behavior of the voucher code in terms of case sensitivity?

 

Based on this thread it should be insensitive, but that was back in DW8 and we are in DW9.4 we are noticing it's case sensitive. I want to confirm if anything changed or if it might be a bug.

Hi Nuno,
it looks like a bug, TFS# 24835 wasn't merged to DW9, thx for finding.

Hi Nuno

The problem regarding #24835->#50007 "Voucher codes are case sensitive during discounts and loyalty point rendering" has now been resolved in Dynamicweb version 8.9.0.0+ and 9.4.11+

To upgrade please choose this version from backend or download from here:

http://doc.dynamicweb.com/releases-and-downloads/releases

Hi Kristian,

 

Sorry for the late reply. I am not sure this is fixed, unless I am misunderstanding the feature. I still reproduce the problem it in 9.4.16. Can you confirm?

Hi Nuno,
sorry, but it was not correctly fixed(fixed for the Loyalty points provider), should be fixed for the discount provider in the next hotfix.

Unfortunately no, This is not going to be fixed in the old 9.3 branch.
