Critical issue with product caching

Hi Dynamicweb,

We are experiencing a rather critical issue with product caching in 9.4.7 where we have two websites in the same solution; one retail and one wholesale, which means that one shop is setup to display prices incl. vat and one to display prices excl. vat and now we see prices without vat on the retail shop if the product first has been displayed on the wholesale shop.

I very much hope that you will look into this issue.

UPDATE: We are not using VAT-specific tags in our templates as we are relying on the Ecommerce-settings on each website.

Best regards, Anders

Hi Anders

Yes, I can see that - same problem with stock actually. TFS#49522 - i've made a fix which is currently for review and test.

Will release a Dynamicweb.Ecommerce as soon as it is passed.

I am seeing the same issue on a single web site where updates to prices in the backend are not reflected in the frontend until a recycle. Is that covered by the same fix?

Yes, I think that is the same!

Hi DW,

Is this issue fixed in 9.4.10?

Hi Anders,

Try with the newly release Dynamicweb.Ecommerce v1.4.33 . It should contain a fix for the problem.

Hi DW,

This is now sort of working :-) A tag like this is working: GetValue(”Ecom:Product.Price.PriceWithoutVAT”), but not always GetValue("Ecom:Product.Discount.Price.Price") which still seems to have some caching issue between our two sites with different VAT-settings on the website.

I hope that can also fix this?

Thanks, Anders

Hi Anders

Yes, that is the same thing. Sorry for not noticing it when fixing the other.... TFS#49754, fixed and merged, awaiting QA and release to Myget feed tomorrow.
