Product Categories fields not updating for variants

Hi,

I'm using Product Categories fields on a solution, most of the fields are set to do not allow change of field content accross languages and variants. This is working correctly, when open variants the fields are blocked. When check the database only the main product has a record on the DB table, even if I open the variant and save it. Since there is no record for the variants, when the Index runs the variants will not get the main product value. This does not allow to filter by those filters and variants.

Hi Mario,

You just need to enable the 'HandleInheritedCategoryValues' setting on the index build. Just click on the build instance name and change the value to true.

This should solve your problem.
