On frontend ecom product list and product detail view we need to display different frontend graphics, in relation to what discount applies to a product.
But in Order Discounts I cannot find any fields on the individual discount that we can use to render a tag with a text value frontend.
E.g. a field "Discount variable" where the editor could enter a value, e.g. "black friday", which we could render via tag frontend and display certain graphics accordingly.
Even better would be an additional field for campaign image file, so the editor could add the path for a specific image to be used in relation to the discount.
This would be a big step up for the editor so they would be able to easily control the campaign graphics in relation to the current discounts.
The name of the discount is no good, because that is used for the customer in the cart.
The description field is not included in the tags rendered on the product page or product list.
Any thoughts on a solution for this?
We really hope this kind of functionality will be present in a future release.
