Order discounts - Apply discount only once issue

Hi guys,

We have a discount applied to a group of products and we selected the option "Apply discount only once" but the discount is applied multiple times in the same order.
When the option "Apply discount only once" is selected, the discount should apply just once, Am I right?

Try to make it an order discount instead of an orderline discount. I think that will give you the result you need.

Hi Morten,

The discount still applies to all items in the cart rather than just a single item.

Hi Morten,

Have you had a chance to look into this further? An upgrade did not fix the issue. All items are still being discounted rather than just a single item on the order.

Hi Terri and Ricardo

You must use the discount apply as Orderline Discount (Exclusive) function with the product selected and the Apply discount only once.

What if the discount applies to only 1 product and you set apply only once? You have 4 of the items in your cart. Should the discount be applied once for 1 item and the remaining 3 are full price? That is the functionality that is wanted. What we are seeing is the discount applied to all 4 items rather than just 1 of them.

Hi Terri

No, that cannot be done. That is actually not permitted in Denmark which is why it probably works as it does. If you change the discount from being a % to a fixed amount, it would only get applied once. But then you have to create one for each product in the discount...
