Navigation XML Group sorting

Hello,

I noticed, that if i set the Navigation properties on a page with an ecom catalog to the following, the Navigation XML is created with the group sorted according to how it appears in the Ecommerce Center (See the attached file Navi_correct.png)

If I, however, set the settings to select "Groups" and "All groups", the groups are sorted alphabetically and not according to the sort order specified in the Ecommerce center (See settings in attached "Nav_alphabetically.png")

[Edit] Minor detail, the Dynamicweb version is 9.2.17 :)

Hi Jan

Choosing the "Parent Group, Group" setting, will give you the option to select specific groups to include in the navigation. And since they potentially can reside in different levels, shops and child/parent relations, it cannot make a valid sort of the groups using the sort order. Thats why it does so using the name. That also applies when you select all groups. So it is working as implemented - and will not be changed since shifting to shop will sort using the sort order.
