PDF version of the Dynamicweb Manual

Hi Guys,

Not very often but often enough to consider posting this request, we need to hand-out to the customer a manual of the solution.

I tried converting the exiting websote into PDFs for each section but the styling for print is not very friendly.
Can you please do something so that we can print as PDF the pages of the manual?

I am interested more in the sections that describe the use of Dynamicweb and the modules. The pages that are under /documentation-9/

I guess any style change will apply to the other pages as well anyway.

If you have another method of suplying a downloadable PDF document, it would be great.

Thank you,
Adrian

Hi Adrian,

This is a feature I've always wanted for the portal, but for various reasons (time, technical difficulties) I haven't had it implemented yet. I'll note it down and move it up on my to-do list :)

Hi Carsten,

I am pretty sure you want it :)

I suppose a brief cleanup of the print stylesheet can do the job for starters. As we know, we can always use &PDF=true to save it as PDF but it will apply the style for print. If that style is not optimized, it looks weird. And now I have to spend at least one day to move it from website to Word, format it and convert it to PDF.

Pretty inefficent.

Looking forward to see it online :)

Thanks,

Adrian
