Item pages on restricted area

Hi,

We have a page itemtype which is allowed on the master language area, but is forbidden on the slave language layers.
Now this is working, the specific item can't be created on the language layer. But when a page is created on the master it's automaticly added to the slave language layers.

Is there a way to change this behaviour, so the new pages dont show up on the slave language layers?

Hi Jesse,

I believe we're adding the option to disable auto-publish for slave/language page content for 9.3. Would this solve your problem?

Hi Martin,

That sounds like a good solution to our problem. Unfortunately this is a solution running on 8.9.1.13. Which isn't going to be upgraded to DW9 anytime soon.
So could this also be added to an 8.* version in the future?

Hi Jesse,

I believe that our 8-branch will not be actively updated with new features. So no, Im affraid that upgrading will be the only way forward if you want to get this functionality.
