Hi Guys,

I am trying to set up the cokies warning the same way I did for other projects. However, it looks like in my current solution I cannot activate them no matter what I do.

My solution is based on Wrap with very few template customisations, running 9.2.14.

I have attached a printscreen with my settings.

Moreover, I see that I can only access the templates from templates/cookieswarning and not the ones in Templates/Designs/cookieswarning.

These 2 things might be connected or not.

Please help me with a solution.

Thank you,
Adrian

Hi Adrian,

Hmm. That's strange; I can replicate your bug on 9.2.14, but on 9.2.15+ it works again.

I guess I wont create a bug for this, but instead ask you to use a newer version (although 9.2.15 has it's own problems).

Hi MArtin,

Thank you for the reply.

That's exactly what I want to avoid. Upgrading to a solution with other problems.

I already posted a bunch of errors related to this solution in the last few days.

I am afraid I will upgrade to another version and I will start over with bugs and stuff. And I really need to release this project this week.

Is there any stable version that is going to be released this week?

Can I upgrade just a portion of the solution?

Thank you,

Adrian

Hi Adrian,

Alright, I see. Well, normal procedure would dictate that you update to a "hotfix" to solve your problem. IF you're willing to get in trouble with out support later on, you COULD choose to only update the Dynamicweb dll from 14 to 15. I checked the dependencies and they are the same, so it should  be safe to do so.

I cannot promise you any support for stuff that breaks, though, as it has not been approved/tested by QA.

The bug you're experiencing has been fixed in 9.2.15 and is contained within the dynamicweb.dll file.

Please let me know how it goes. :)
