Hi,

I'm working on 8.9.1.7 eCom solution with the new QuickPay payment window. I'm just using the default order flow which sends out a mail to our customer, when a new order is created.

We have a problem where an order is created (and an email sent) - even though the user hasn't entered any payment card info. Is it possible only to send a mail when a user has actually entered the cardinfo and is back at the receipt page in DW?

Dynamicweb does not send an email before the checkout is complete. So you must have mis configured...

Hi Nicolai,

It does on shop.samson-agro.dk - I've entered our customers e-mail in default order flow > new state.

This monday I created an order and going to the payment window without paying - and just closing the window - and a mail was sent. The same thing happened when a user did the same thing last week. I haven't done anything else than just entering an email in the "New" order state, so I don't know how I can have misconfigured?

Hi Rene,

Management Center -> Ecommerce -> Orders  -> Order flow:

You have set to send email on "New" order. You may want to change it to "Completed".

I've tried that - not working.

I'm in contact with Kirkholt about it on e-mail :-) Will post here when we figure out what's wrong.
