When adding products to the cart, we have need of knowing IF they were actually added. This is in regard to both "add" and "addmulti".

If you have configured your solution to not support adding products out of stock to the cart, and you try to add 20 units when only 10 are in stock, we need to no that none has been added. 

 

A loop with added products would do nicely! :)

A loop with poroducts requested to be added would be even better. This could contain a success parameter and remaining stock for products not added to the cart.

I would add that this request helps a lot especially when you use Reorder from Customer Center.

Right now, if you try to reorder and you have out of stock products in the order you try to reorder, there is no message that some of the products were not added to your cart.

Actually, there is no message whatsoever even if it add all products to your cart. It just silently happens. But nevertheless, knowing what has been added and what was ignored, makes a lot of sense.
