Missing the Smart Searches node in eCommerce tree

I am running DW9.2 and can't find the "Smart Searches" node in the eCommerce tree. Where has it gone?

Hi Lars,

The "Smart Searches" node in Ecom was removed in DW9.0, because it used the old index which is not supported on DW9.

You should be able to obtain the same result by using a index query in repositories.

In the manual on this page it says: "You can select or exclude products based on (product) smart searches". Is the manual not up to date?

Hi Lars

In the DW9 release notes we also wrote that the smart searches for products was discontinued because of running on top of the old index which is removed in DW9.

The manual is obviously wrong (this has not been deleted yet) - sorry about that.

A new version of the smartsearch based on the new index is part of PIM/PCM in 9.2 but not available in other scenarios just yet.
